New Features for Customers — March 2026
We are excited to share several updates that make shopping on Free Market Express faster, easier, and more transparent. Delivery fees are now calculated dynamically based on your distance from the store, the time of day, and current demand. You will see a full fee breakdown on the store page and at checkout so you always know exactly what you are paying for before placing your order. We have added over 50 new stores across Maryland, each with a full catalog of products across produce, dairy, meat, bakery, beverages, frozen foods, household items, and personal care. Use the category filter on the home screen to browse by store type. The order tracking page has been upgraded with real-time driver location updates. You can now see your driver moving on a live map as they pick up your order and head to your address. Estimated arrival times update automatically as conditions change. You can now schedule deliveries for a future date and time if you do not need your order right away. Look for the Scheduled Delivery option at checkout. We have also improved the return request flow so you can request a refund for individual items within 48 hours of delivery.
